Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in similar discipline with at least 10 years demonstrated senior field experience in lifting operations, lifting preparation (lift plans), lifting supervision and lifting equipment inspection.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in lifting & rigging especially in critical & heavy lifts in offshore Greenfield and Brownfield environment
- Valid Certifications issued by Internationally Recognized bodies as Competent Lifting Specialist
Knowledge and/or Experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in discipline with at least 10 years demonstrated senior field experience in lifting operations, lifting preparation (lift plans), lifting supervision and lifting equipment inspection.
- Knowledge of different types of lifting equipment/cranes on heavy lift barges (in anchored & DP modes), jack-up barges, land based mobile/fixed cranes.
- Inspection of lifting equipment & devices to confirm compliance with Code requirements
- Experience in review of lifting engineering for, e.g., load curves, stability of barges, rigging calculations, etc.
- Knowledge of International standards such as LOLER, BS, LEEA, DNV and experience in regulatory compliance. Experience within Qatar is added value.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
Technical and Business Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook e-mail system
